Argentine singer, musicologist, producer and composer. Aixa Figini is a versatile and multifaceted artist, passionate about multiculturalism and dialogue between various musical languages.
CIRCULAR is an ensemble of vocal improvisation and experimentation formed by seven women singers coming from from different countries (Argentina, Portugal, Italy and Brazil) with diverse influences and musical backgrounds.
Founded by Aixa Figini.
He is a musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer, director, producer, rhythmic researcher, and generator of cultural projects. He studied drums, percussion, piano, guitar, mbira, composition, harmony and counterpoint privately in Argentina, Spain, the USA and other countries.
La Percumotora is the pioneer group of the Improvisation with Signs system in Colombia.
Founded by Rodrigo Matta, La Percumotora does not have a prepared musical repertoire, since all the pieces it plays are the result of conducting the improvised ideas that arise spontaneously from each musician. The only thing prepared is the arduous training of the musicians in improvisation resources and in the communication achieved through Sign Language.
In their concerts, musicians and instruments, conductor and audience merge to play together to be free.
Like life itself, La Percumotora’s music manifests itself in the delicate and paradoxical balance of improvising plans. That is why…

My focus is on community music, with intersections with music in social work, music education and cultural education.
